Ordering an X7 M50i this week. Actually the dealer asked me to spec one, they will build it and I don’t have to commit to buying it. So I built a tanzanite blue one that has an MSRP of $119,000.
Not counting any incentives that may come out, what should my target % off msrp be? I recently got a little over 6% on my wife’s X6 M50i. I didn’t know if X7’s are more or less when it comes to discounts. |

For reference BMWFS, rarely changes the MF rate on different model lines and there were no changes to August incentives and rates - that being said MY21 X7 rate isn't readily available but the MY21 X5 45e (PHEV) is 0.00099MF in addition to MY21 X3, 3 Series and 5 Series.
Safe to say that it's 0.00099 for MY20 and MY21

7.5k is 56% 10k is 55% 12k is 54% 15k is 52% From my understanding, finance and lease incentives and rebates are less for MY21.

I just got a quote from my local dealer for a spec build put in July 1 and all he is offering is a $2500 "good faith" rebate. MSRP w/ Dest. is $109,695 so that works out to 2.25%. I did not expect him to knock my socks off with the first offer but my socks are decidedly still on my feet. I haven't responded. Fairly sure that they aren't going to budge much off of this price so I might end up having to order elsewhere this fall or go out of state. I know they expect me to eventually pay more for something I've "ordered" but I'm smart enough not to fall for that ploy. I think 5% is probably the low end of what I might agree to do, most likely 6-7% is what I think is fair. I'd jump on that 8% offer in a heartbeat. |

I finalized a deal on an X7 M50i custom order. $116,645 MSRP, 6% discount plus $500 for test driving a BMW (they will keep the other $500) plus an additional $1750 for loyalty and if I finance $7500 minimum. So I'm going to finance $7500 then pay it off if there are no early payment penalties.

I have placed my order for MY2021 X7 40i. 8% off MSRP + BMWFS incentives if available at the time of sale for financing.
I had 2 other quotes for 3% from other local dealers and a fourth quote for 5% off (via Costco Auto program) from an out of town dealer. |

I’m looking at an X7 M50 build. I have a great relationship with my dealer, this will be my 4th car in just under 3 years (x5 40i, M5, x5 M50, and x3 M40).
It’ll be a purchase for tax purposes though a business. I’m going to aim for 9-10% off my build. |

9-10 might be aggressive, but that’ll be my “go” price. 7-8% and I may wait for the 2021 Escalade to arrive. |

Do these August rates apply to MY2021 too? I dont see any mention of MY2021 on BMWFS website but the sale associate told me that my car may arrive before the end of this month. Thanks |

Yeah I am in the same boat, ordered a 2021 the last week of July, was told originally 6-7 weeks, after he submitted the order he said oh its 4-5 weeks, it began production last week.
We were already considering pushing delivery from Sept to Oct if the incentives sucked, but if it arrives in Aug, then Sept incentives better be great. I would expect them to be more than the Aug 500 lease and 1000 loyalty. 3k total and we will be happy, already got 8% off MSRP.
