I’ve just ordered OEM black badges and they were $50 cheaper then the IND.
As soon as I have them in hand I’ll post pics and part numbers.
Wait. There are OEM Black badges for the X7 M50i specifically? Where did you order them? Please share!

Was easy but took longer than it had to. It kept breaking off in pieces rather than just coming off in entirety. Believe I spent two hours to do both.
I’ve seen people do this on forums over the years and for the life of me I’ve never understood the point.
Aesthetics. The anthracite liner is too nice to have that hideous bright yellow and white label on it. Eyesore in otherwise beautiful interior.

It should come removable like the dangling one over the glove compartment. You read it the first time you get the car and can pull it off immediately.

It's funny how for some people, their brain just tunes it out. I don't even notice mine.

I get why some want to remove those labels. It's a totally unnecessary label that no one ever reads anyway.

Same reason they need a label on the hairdryer not to use while showering or in a bathtub. Some idiot without common sense must have sued.

Wait...how was I supposed to know not to put my infant in the front seat and that when I got into an accident the airbag, which I knew was in my car, would actual work and deploy. There was no warning label.

I completely understand the warning label to cya, however, why can't it be easily removable? Same thing with the warning message at car start. Make us sign something when we buy the car acknowledging the warning. I don't need it everytime I start the car.

considering next vehicle and currently in x5 which I enjoy however I was thinking of something bigger next go around. I don't need the 3rd row for seating yet could use the storage room when needed. coming for an x5 yourself, would it be worth it even if I never use the third row for seating ?

If you'd enjoy having a larger vehicle, why not. Being single with 2 dogs, I've owned multiple 3-row SUV for years with the 3rd row stored.

Before G05 launch, I test drove the X7 and immediately impressed with it. Seriously considered it but for now the X5 fits my needs and garage, LOL.

Go for it!

Gosh no, it's technologically ancient for me, LOL, but don't get me wrong - it's a fine, capable off-road SUV, which majority of Lexus owners don't appreciate - just not modern enough for me.

I would consider the X7 for sure. Lot more legroom in the second row compared to X5, and with seats down in various configurations, tons of storage room.

There's lots of us here that have no use for the 3rd row, but choose the X7 over the X5. (there's many X5 owners that don't understand why, though)

How's the quality of the painted IND badges? Particularly the "M" since which looks challenging to paint. May splurge for these but leave in their OEM location.
IND paint quality is excellent. I always use them on all my cars. This time around though I had a problem with the mineral white matching. The front deletes are a little off. They asked for the tow hook cover so they could match, but on the M it is black! The only other option is to give them my gas cap door which is just not realistic lol
I've done four cars with their deletes and everyone has been a perfect match. This is the first time and it's only because of the mineral paint. But Ryan at IND is definitely working to correct the issue. Definitely the best
