Recommendations for running inside wire to outside
Does anyone have any experience running a wire inside the cabin to the outside without drilling or cutting your vehicle? Can you please share your experience or recommendation (possibly with pictures and location(s))?
Thanks in advance. |

Installing some retractable running boards that require wires from outside the vehicle to come inside and connect to the wiring harness that's bundled in the overhead console.

Go through one of the grommets in the firewall into the engine bay and then go down the side of each fender to get down to where the running boards are.

@ND40oz: Your recommendation is much appreciated. Without ripping up the upholstery along the firewall, can you please key me into the location of one of the grommets? I tried feeling around back there and I found a grommet of sorts from the outside but unfortunately, it didn't actually allow entry into the cabin.
