I’m a fan of the wheels but matte paint is too boy racer for me. If I was in my 20s and had a coupe I’d consider matte but it just doesn’t look like it belongs on an X7. Makes it look cheap.

My dealer called earlier today. Looks like they've already received an allocation and delivery dates from BMW. They're looking at delivery this year. He should have confirmed dates by the end of the day.
But almost certain I'm not going to take delivery. Will decide by the end of the week.

I've actually looked over my state's available license plates for stuff like that. Alaska only allows 6 characters. Most stuff like DARTH and VADER and DTHSTR (my 1st choice) are already taken. Best I could come up with is YUBNUB or NOMOON as being available.

Yup, that's one of the key questions, whether DHP can be ADDED to the Dark Shadow standard build.

If the answer's no, that's likely a deal breaker for me and I'll be out
