Quick question on production date. Mine was originally slated for a 12/8 production date using the F12 trick. At the end of last week it actually changed and moved up to 12/7.
I just looked and I'm still in status 150 ("production begins"). Curious if that is pretty standard since it's production date is tomorrow? Thx |

You choose who you want to do business with and if you can’t find a deal that fits your needs I would work with broker who will find you a competitive deal. Good luck. |

This would be a great idea and would benefit the buyer in terms of getting the best price with minimal effort. Because dealerships would lose money and require them to do more work, this probably would never happen….

Excited to finally be coming back to BMW. Our last one was a new 2008 535i and it was a disaster. It seems like reliability has really improved over the years and the X7 is really the best option in this class for us. We were also looking at the GLS but after trying both for an extended time the X7 really stood out.
Ordered a M60i this week and dealer expects to get an allocation later this month with delivery happening sometime in March. Has anyone heard anything from their dealers? Mine is reaching out to their rep to see what is up. I saw the MY25 SOP is around the corner and wondering if that is the issue |

Side question - the image of my car in my garage does not match the spec - all of the options shown are correct though. Is the photo supposed to match? |

To know exactly what you have ordered, go off your build order sheet which will be the source of truth, and ensure it matches up with the options listed on the garage page. |

So I live closer to the Spartanburg plant so that could have had a effect for sure on my time but I ordered the X7 on Jan 20 and it went to 150 status on Feb 2 with a completion date of Feb-15. That day I got a call from my CA that it would then be delivered on Feb 17th. I was able to pick the X7 up on Saturday and I gotta say...What a huge step up from the Mercedes GLE 450 we owned. My wife and I had some concerns about it not fitting well in our small garage but for whatever reason it actually fits better. I think it's just the shape which I like better. It was 3 weeks early for us and the dealership said that doesn't normally happen but good luck to everyone waiting on orders. they are working fast!

My wife’s BMW x7 x40 had the following timeline:
- Dec 15, 23 - emailed our car broker our build (link from BMW page) - Jan 29, 24 - got the vehicle inquiry report with the production number from the dealer and the car showed in BMW my garage status “schedule for production” - Jan 31, 24 - status “production begins” - it was in this status for two weeks - Feb 14, 24 - status “awaiting carrier assignment” - Feb 17, 24 - status “at the dealership” We got it delivered to our office on 2/22/24. We are located in NJ. The month and a half wait (even if during the holidays) with no updates made us look even at used options but prices seems relatively high and not many options (I am surprised on the number of BMW without the park assist package, which I consider basic for an suv this size). |

Can you still order a MY24 or is everything MY25 now? I've got a MY24 (going to be bumped to MY25) X5 50e on order and I'm thinking of upsizing to a X7 40i.

FWIW, I just had my Sales Rep switch my 2024 X7 M60i production number to a 2025 model year on Tuesday. I think that the 2025’s start production in late April and I’m happy to wait for the new model year…
