Some motion shots taken with my camera mounted on the sunroof...

I posted this in the Aussie section, but wanted to share with the rest of you also :wink:

Here's a few shots I took last night using my Canon EOS 40D and the Filmtools Gripper 3205 Suction-cup Camera Mount. Hope you like them :smile:

Next thing on the list is a decent rig I can use to get the camera placed further away from the car so as to include the entire car in the photo - does anyone know where I can purchase a reasonably affordable one?

Ahh I've been looking for something like that. that combined with the wireless remote. You are using a clear filter for protection right?

Probably a fortune! I didn't think of that! Ah well. I nearly got fined as well. A Citylink patrol car pulled up and the guy asked to see my work permit. I told him "it's not work, this is just a hobby, mate". I showed him one of the photos and he said "wow, that's great! I'm going to have a smoke behind my car, if you're gone by the time I'm finished, I never saw you"!

haha. Gotta love Australia. Guarantee the Belgian authorities wouldn't have a sense of humour like that.

Sure can, however clean glass is the recommended surface. I have fixed it to painted surfaces, but I always secure the camera to the car using a plastic-coated wire cable as well, just to be sure :wink:
