interior plastic scratch..

My friend who got in my driver seat of the car scratched the black plastic trim with one of those hanging key chains from your belt..

I tried using interior detail sprayer like meguiar's but no luck.. still there...

Anyone know how to get this fixed? Everytime I look at it it makes me angry.

Not much can be done when plastic is scratched. My old subie had quite the gash out of the plastic trim on the door panel. I took a hair dryer and lightly warmed up the area and massaged it with my finger. It filled the gash but it also looked smooth whereas the rest of it was textured. I wouldn’t even chance it on the m2.

I have not tried this myself, but it might be worth trying if the scratch is really bothering you. Informative at the least.

Sorry but...

Seriously, depending on which part of the trim in damaged could you not just replace it?

Just replace the damaged trim piece. Unless you really know what you’re doing any attempt to repair it will very likely make it look worse.
