About to place an order for an M50i (I’m in the US). Can’t decide between Arctic Gray and White... My previous two cars have been white and I’m itching for a change, love the Arctic Gray, but worried that dark color always difficult to keep looking clean.

Interior will be White/Navy

Please argue either way!

PS. I’m keeping the Cerium Gray accents (not getting shadow line trim), so that should provide some contrast.

Well, I'm getting Arctic Grey, so obviously I like that one best.

That said, I've always gotten dark grey BMWs. Don't worry about dirt. Grey hides it well, in my experience.

I have artic grey and it's a light grey. Almost has a bluish tint to it. Easy to keep clean. I like white too though. I think the white makes the details of the grill, etc stand out better because of the contrast. Although when I traded my white f15 in on a black 50i, the salesman was steering me away from white. He said, only ambulances come in white. Lol

Arctic gray is not light gray. It looks near black in certain lights and purple in others. The purple is what turned me away from it.

I like arctic gray. You’ll get a million different opinions on this board about what looks good. Go with your own preference lol. YOU ARE DRIVING IT!

Mineral white. Arctic is too much blue/purple in it. I love a nice dark grey but not arctic. Alpine white does not have metallic - hence my vote for MW.

Mineral white! My last car was white too, and I almost went with gray because of that. But this white is so gorgeous. I also have the navy/ivory interior, and it’s a stunning combo.

For the other X7s - yes.

For the M50i - no.

I have also purchased many white vehicles in the past so our arctic gray X7 was a huge departure. And I was also worried about how easy it would be to keep clean. After four months of ownership I'm happy to say it really isn't that difficult to keep clean at all. And when clean it looks terrific. I also have the ivory/blue interior that you're getting. It's what really sold us on the vehicle. It's very attractive to the eye and everyone that has seen it loves the color combination.

FWIW, I'm getting Mineral White. Easy to keep clean, will hide rock chips better. But perhaps most, it just looks so good on the X7 and shows the body lines of the car so well. There's a reason that so many of the x7 press models have, and continue to be, Mineral White.
