Say you walk up to a cash register, and for some reason, you are not carrying plastic
have you ever been a buck short?

I've been 50 cents short on a PS2 game once.
my CC was out of order cuz it had just gotten frauded (got frauded on friday night.. had to wait till monday, went to get the game on sunday)
the guy let me have the game anyways

I always seem to be 1-2 bucks short and have to use my cc. I never carry cash either so it's frustrating when I do and then that happens haha

Yes, and it's extremely embarrassing. I'll always run out to my car to get plastic, or more cash, but I always fumble around in my pockets in desperation that the cashier will let me get what I need.

I brought some cash to a club once and wound up getting completely hammered. I went across the street and ordered a big ass hamburger and fries and a water, which in NYC = $15. Somehow in the drunkness I didn't realize I only had $8 until I had to pay. Oh boooy.

When i was in undergrad i often was so broke couldn't afford a sammich or coffee until i got my next paycheck...un-boss like..so yeah i been a buck short plenty of times

When I lived in NY I was in the red every month while working an internship (trying to get some experience on my resume).

Every week I was in situations where I need to buy gas, or eat dinner.

It was fucking lame... and never want to experience that kind of feeling again.

+1, seems like the story of my life. But I have like 4 credit cards and a few debit cards on me most of the time so it's no big deal.
