My vehicle is 2023 X7 40i with about 10K miles on it
I purchased the maintenance plan. And I have used Christine, who is widely mentioned on this forum.

I am contemplating buying a X7 / X5 with mileage in the 25-55k range. I was wondering if anyone recently bas purchased a warranty for a slightly higher mileage car.

if its still under factory warranty ( 4 years, 50K miles) the bmw extended can be purchased.
i would look for something in that realm (below 50K miles) so the bmw warranty is an option.

Y’all. Definitely reach out to David at BMW Galleria he was able to beat my best offer. I was in shock. +1 (601) 402-3794. shoot him a text or leave him a VM. He was super awesome to work with. Again beat my best offer I can’t stress that enough.

I got the ultimate maintenance bundle 3 year +4 bundle
Platinum plus 7 year 100k
Silver package (tire and rim, paintless dent repair, and key fob loss protection)

It’s certainly worth a call for a GREAT savings.

I ordered my car from BMW South Austin. Why kind of discount did you get for the extended warranty from Heidi?

Endurance warranty

I was researching online and found Endurance Supreme 6yr/+100k mile plan for ~ $5600 (since my x7 has 43k miles on it, this warranty would last till 143k miles or 6 yrs ).

Online reviews of endurance seems very good. Anyone has any experience with this warranty product or company ?

If I purchase UC+1, does that mean I can extend the UC package at the end of the 48 mo or is that it?

Hey Everyone,

Just picked up a 24’ X7 M60i and I decided to add a extended warranty and the tire/wheel package at the time of purchase which was this past Tuesday (Halloween).

I keep my vehicles for over 5 years and this new BMW is my first luxury vehicle purchase. I have never bought extended warranty’s before and was very hesitant of adding it to this purchase. Also, not sure if this is a great deal or not, but as the fianance manager said I could cancel at anytime. I read the fine print, I have a 30 day period to get a full refund. My question to the BMW community is if I got a good deal or not? If so, do I just keep the warranties.

Extended Warranty: 7yr/70k Platinum $2,800 It is through WFS, I forgot the company’s name.

Tire and Wheel Package: 5yr/unlimited miles Platinum $2,894

I also keep my cars longer time. Both our X7's have the extended BMW warranty and the maintenance package. I didn't need the tire and wheels package.

I didn’t add any maintenance packages since I am not sure how many miles I will put on it yearly. Also, the finance manager said it wasn’t worth it if we plan on only putting 5-7k yearly on the vehicle. I need wheel and tire since I live in downtown Houston. The roads here are not any better than beautiful NYC, Chicago or L.A.

Agree. For us my wife's X7 is 2019 40i, lat week hit 100,000 miles. Mine is 2022 M50i now has 22K. So we use our maintenance package. The biggest peace I am also interested is the Rotor and Wheel replacement....

Has anyone tried contacting Christine Newman recently? Her email bounces and the front desk can't seem to connect me to her at the dealership.

Update: Her dealership has changed ownership and her email has changed as a result. Her new contact info is christinen@bmwofcamarillo.com

Cheers

Just about to pick up my wife’s CPO X5 and was told the “new” bmw policy is that the warranty can’t be extended after the CPO warranty ends. It must NOW be done on the day of purchase. Has anyone else heard this?

I would ask the forum vendor reps but the way I interpreted it was that you had to buy warranty when it was under new factory warranty and couldn’t get ESP warranty during CPO warranty - only extended CPO wrap warranty which has more exclusions including suspension.

Figured I’d chime in. New to the forum but I own a new I4 and now a 2022 X7 40i w/ 17k miles. I bought it from the dealer without the CPO.

Plan on my wife owning this thing for 6 years. We put about 8000 miles a year on it at best.

Anyone have a recommendation based on my parameters? Appreciate it!

Really like the oil change costs being covered as well.

We have a '22 x40i with around 12k miles on, so plenty of factory warranty left. We do anticipate keeping it past the factory warranty and will be buying an extended warranty through BMW. Most likely Platinum zero deductible 72month 100k miles. Is there an advantage do going ahead and buying it now vs waiting to closer to the end of the factory warranty?

The rep told me to sign up before 20k miles. The rate jumps up after that. I think every 20k miles.

Thanks this is very helpful. Guess we will do some shopping around and make the move. I think we are also looking to extend our 2020 430i convertible CPO warranty. They call it a wrap?
