SharkEdit web page has two new images...
Hmmm, the SharkEdit site has a couple new images added on Feb 13, 2009
http://www.bonnevillemotorwerks.com/sharkedt/OBDv2.jpg http://www.bonnevillemotorwerks.com/sharkedt/M20v2.jpg I see they have a micro usb connection on the Shark Injector. I'm not sure if that was always on there. Maybe with all the updates from other flash companies, thing will start to move forward. |

Sorry I stopped coming around guys. i figured there was no need to give updates on nothing.
Yup, new injectors have USB ports. I took those pics. Also, word on the street is there are a few 335s running around with Conforti software on them. So progress has been made for sure. I know it is WAYYYYY past when this stuff should have been done, and I don't have the answers as to why it has taken so long. The rumormill says SE is done (I think I have said this before, but you shouldnt shoot the messenger if I am wrong). |

BT is still a long way from delivering a full "tuning suite" that Shark Edit was promised to be. If it is actually nearing completion I'd still welcome it with open arms.

I don't know what it is with you guys and your 'window'. You realize that there could be 10 owners after you with your cars? The N54 powered cars will be around for a long time. Jim STILL sells a ton of stuff for the older BMWs. Thats because as they get more affordable, people are far less scared to modify them or the right owner is finally able to afford one. Then again, SE isnt just for N54 powered cars. At the price point SE is going to hit, there will be nothing else like it. |

I would put my money with the experienced few in flashing rather than going on another beta testing ride when these "new" flashes get released. |

Seems to be some interesting overlap of BT and SE now. We can be pretty sure that at least two of the big tuners are spending time with the BT and learning how to build flashes. That means, for customers with BT's, it's going to be stupid cheap to upload the files that the tuners create and send out. Going to be interesting for sure.
