Ambient light weirdness

Hi all! New to the XM community coming from an M850i. What a difference.

It’s a base 24 Vader mobile that I picked up a week ago and loving it so far.

I’m noticing some weirdness with the ambient light colors. A couple times now I’ve noticed that different lights have different colors, for example the color is set to blue but random lights are purple. I’ve attached pictures. Setting them to another color fixes the issue but it comes back intermittently on subsequent vehicle starts. Vehicle is on software 07/2024.55. Anyone else notice this?

Yes. I have exactly the same thing happening on my car that got delivered last month. It seems to be only a problem with the blue lights. All other colours seem fine.

It's a bad software update.. ask the dealership to do an update.

Correct prior software speakers where cream then whatever color you select for everything else. Now it's all the same. I myself prefer the old setting

Its a setting in the idrive, I dont remember where but you toggle it and they turn the same color as the rest of the lights

Update: Dealer updated the software to 11/2024.37 which fixed eSIM but the ambient light issues are still there. Not sure I want to bring it back in just for that so I’ll wait until my first oil change.

Also, all ambient lights are the same color. No option for the speakers to have a different color.
