6MT with Active Steering; all stock except suspension, which is now a bit toast and I'm going to do a big service on the engine and suspension soon. Will run it for a year or so and then probably get rid of it to put my mum into something more sensible. Anytime I step on it just a bit, the cabin fills with this classically BMW-like deep and smooth tone of the engine and exhaust that even the M3 doesn't manage since its exhaust overrides the engine. It's very pleasant to cruise in, but falls apart when pushed on - the very soft subframe bushings, lack of camber and LSD really bring the car down. I wish I'd done more to the car, but considering it has spent the last several years pootling around town, it doesn't matter now. But with the E92, it was the last of the true old-style BMW coupes of yesteryear that, I think, we all grew up loving. Also was our first true fast car, first car with more than four cylinders, etc. So it's got a place in my heart - like all the few other BMWs we have collected with my father in the past 15 years, who's now unfortunately very ill.

Was just sent this. Never leased a car but if I needed one I’d get this! That’s approaching M4 CS leasing goodness.

So they're using a Taycan Turbo S image as a selling point to get into a base?
No way a Turbo S is that price... Looks like classic click bait to me.

Porsche dealers can't get rid of their Taycans, especially the Turbo trims. Their customers who want the Taycans already got it. What is left is literally just sitting there and they cannot get rid of them because their customers don't want it. Some dealers still have 2022s. Especially now the news is out about the new Taycans having better range, the old ones/current ones are literally just.. waste. This isn't just Porsche by the way, this is among most high end EVs that dealers have, they cannot sell them. Benz have stacks of EQ EVs laying around. Car sales have finally starting to slow down. Dealers are seeing it and they have too much EV inventory they cannot get rid of. Even Tesla.

I am not saying it is purely Turbo trims that are sitting, Taycan’s or EVs in general are sitting.
That price for a Taycan base is decent but not good enough. The price reduction is offset by the high interest rate if you buy. Lease is more or less the same without too much change.

Its base. The GTS ones were around $1,999 a month with none down.
