real Porsche fans never liked the Cayenne.. but it sells well more than the 911 we don't like some BMWs but they are those who sell more

I just wish the grill was smaller.. it's too big :/
Well said! And you can throw the Panamera in the mix as well. Porsche fans never liked that model either, but it sells better than some 911 models.

SUV line.. X1, X2, X3, X4, X5, X6, X7 ....

car line .. 1er (Certain markets) 2er , 3 , 4, 5 , 6 , 7, 8 ,

Keep selling SUV/SAV and don't stop using the profits from those for sports car models please.
You know it is getting thin when Nissan goes to Mercedes to help make the new Z.

Or when BMW jumps into bed w/Toyota of all peeps to give birth to the new Z4.

I guess this is what happens when they try to create a Rolls and Bmw large suv on the same platform and minimize differences.

I'd disagree with you regarding the styling of the XC90 being a station wagon look. If anything, it's closer to the 3-box shape that is more reminiscent of earlier design SUVs. Q7, on the other hand, really went the way of over-sized station wagons.

You know Paul, we should replace some tasteless individuals that are working for BMW. The design department and quality department have some serious issues....

For BMW this mongo sized SAV was pretty much all about the third row seating and competing in that segment.

The older Volvo XC90 looked decent. The new one way to boxy, definitely a downgraded exterior style and body sculpt. The X7 looks to similar.

Save some gas for the rest of us.

BMW should just start making fuggly minivans at this point.

I don't think the innovative transportation for-fathers would have predicted 100 years into the future that horsepower and what appears to be much needed capacity would look like this in 2018. The sad truth of over populating our planet.

It saddens me to innocent hard-working animals treated like this. Totally UN-cool!

My exact words when I we were first shown the images of the car in SA. I was told I would like the product in real life. Let’s see...

Some of the people who have seen the show car say it great presence in real life.

My wife just asked me over the weekend when am I going to replace my E70 which is almost at 200k km. I said I was waiting for the X7, but more and more it seems that I am going to keep my E70 and run it to the ground.

That thing is hideous, and the body look old like a knock off of the previous Mercedes GL class.

I'm sure BMW will come out with a black edition or black shadow edition soon enough anyway.

The BMW camo game cultivates haters that later swallow their tongues when the finished product comes to market.

Even products NOT camouflaged like the M4 666 wheels were vilified in these very forums only for bozos to say - oh now that I see them in person......

Since you've come out this strongly so soon, I already see you making a move within 16 months of X7 production.

This place never changes. You have people bashing a car they cant even see, and they have no interest in this segment to begin with. The x5 looks great, as does the x1, new x3, even the new x2 looks good in person (although a little buggish in the front). I'm sure this is going to look great and its going to crush it for BMW. Not sure why its taken this long for them to get into this segment.
