I know you’re only talking about new cars, but lightly used Evora 400/GT and Alfa Romeo 4C are worthy alternatives. Lightweight, tossable, and none of that electric power steering nonsense.

I have no experience owning a Lotus but have done a lot of research on 2017-2021 Evoras. Supposedly very reliable powertrain and no major costly issues.

Now the Alfa I wouldn’t touch with a 10 ft pole based on my dad’s experience leasing a Giulia.
