Been waiting on the X7 review from Doug. Didn't realize the autonomous driving tech it comes with. Very nice.

I believe the autonomous driving tech is part of the Active Driving Assistant Pro part of the Driving Assistance Professional package.

I like this viewer's comment:

"Oh kids, it's raining! Quick, back to the car!"
"Mom, it's been an hour, why can't we just jump in?"
"We have to wait for the seats to slide forward. Let's go see a movie and come back later."

Nice video. Other stuff I got from this video:

- no wrinkles in 3rd row bench!

- confirmation of 3rd row heated seats, activated on the overhead climate control panel by the 3rd row moonroof

- Good view of the little clips on the cargo sidewalls that hold the 3rd row seatbelts to the side. (I still think it's a little odd/disappointing that they're always there even with 3rd row stowed)

- I'll be honest, I don't know if I knew that there were fog lights tucked all the way under the front nose

Very informative, the switches to move rear seats forward from drivers seat is so cool!

Interesting, I don't see that is a package offered for the 50i, does that mean it is standard on the 50i?

Never mind, I just confirmed my own question by looking up the standard features list for the 50i.

Finally a decent review. The most comprehensive interior review. I find Doug annoying with his 'next up' and 'quirks' comments, but he did a good job .

His Driving thoughts, feels more grand to drive than X5 more like a Range Rover, quick enough with the 40i, and significantly more regal and luxurious than X5 just below Bentayga...some real bold claims

His voice is irritating so I watch his reviews with minimal volume

I did not hear that or you are just kidding? He said the grill is appropriate for the size of the car. He actually asked "What else do you want to put in the big space, more metal?" I am not aware of a full size SUV/truck with small grills.

After the uninformative 3-series review he did a really nice job on this one.

We all knew that aside from some questionable styling elements the X7 is truly the segment topper, this video really shows why. BMW left no stone unturned when engineering this car and they will sell a boat load of 'em.

Yes, more metal, something, anything. Perhaps a more proportional sized grill. It's a trend that started well before the X7, but this takes it to another level. It's horrible... maybe reflective of a change in the BMW design center. Pays zero homage to it's historic roots. And of course, like so many things, it's very subjective... but I agree with the others who also do not like it, nor the probable design trends.
