Door handle removal on X7

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Hello fellow X7 owners.

I am in a process of doing some work on our new X7 and needed to remove the door handles. Has anyone done it already?

It looks like torx t15 screw is what keeps the handle in place. Is it just backing it off or is it more to it. Anyone?

Thank you in advance.

There's a "special tool" to release the clamping bolt. Part info isn't available from review of Bimmercat and Realoem.

I was able to remove those. It requires a t15 torx but need to be a long and skinny all the way, not a typical one that come with a tool kit.

Thank you for the links above.

Don't know what kind of work you're doing, but I want to see when you're done!
