those pictures are SUPER generous in regards to the lights. the interior door lights are NOT AT ALL bright....infact you can barely see them unless its pitch black.

for anyone who is considering retrofitting, dont bother. you're not going to see anything

I have pretty much every package you can get on an F30 and I don't have anywhere near that amount of light in my car.

Just picked up my 335 xi and was driving it home last night. I could barely see the ambient light on the doors but after looking at these pics I went back to the car and changed the ambient light settings to classid and maximum brightness and there it was. Awesome colors. Yes the 335 has it and it totally changed the interior for night driving. Mine is the luxury modle and factory setting was on the luxury mode. Change it to classic and you will be amazed

My '13 335i doesn't have the door panel strip lighting or the Airbag lights.. but it has everything else shown on the first page pictures.. The white led setting isn't as visible as classic amber though..

I guess if you have M Sport, you dont get the door panel strips/airbag lights?

What's the option code that states extended LED ambient lighting?

Well all be.. I actually have the light rails on my door panels! What I don't have is the Airbag lights though.. I wonder why mine doesn't have it but certain models do?

Edit: The light rails are nearly impossible to see if you have black leather.. Black leather just absorbs all the light..

Edit2: Classic amber colored lighting definately illuminates a black leather interior better.
