The question here is -

Is deposit on a CC?
Are deposits refundable in state where deposit was made. Looks like TX based on the signature.

the only real play here is to cancel the order and negotiate with another dealer if the deposit is refundable.

I agree there is no leverage at this store anymore.

Maybe that is why you are still waiting on an allocation? Higher paying getting the allocations first?

I'm surprised that would be the case with the X7. Figured allocations are plentiful.

Sometimes if you go to the dealer website they'll have an apr listed. My local dealer is quoting 5.29%

Check bmw website, click on financing offers . Read the fine print . That is the buy rate .

If you go 72 add 1 percent .

Also the dealer is allowed to mark up 1%z

How many days before production date does it take before the production number flips to a VIN and start moving through the actual build process ? I have had my production number since Aug 2nd.

I was assigned a VIN about 2 weeks prior to the car actually beginning production.

Currently in QC since Friday of last week, but not stressing about it.

I finalized my order yesterday, got my production number this AM, flipped to a VIN this afternoon.
