Dealer had my tire pressure set to 50+
I just had the chance to check my tire pressure after having the car for 5 days. Each tire was somewhere between 47-56 lbs!!!
It's only about 57 degrees here today and it's been in the garage for well over an hour.

I'm not going to name the dealer. In every other respect, they did a fantastic job for me. I just thought it was a little odd for the pressure to be so far off.

I think you should inform the service department, they could have a faulty pressure gauge, in which case they'll be grateful for your feedback.

It may cause a bit dangers as the max inflation supposed no more than 51 psi according to the spec listed. Just out of curious, how abut the ride difference between 5x psi and 35 psi?

The ride difference is noticeable. It rides "smoother" now, I can't think of a better word to describe it. It's also quote a bit warmer now and that can certainly make a difference.

Everyone are glad to hear you are fine and I think it is better to check tire pressure regularly.
My spec is 225/55/17 P7, I feel difference betwwen 32psi setted by dealer and later increased 38 psi by me. The ride with 32 psi is soft enough as most limo, while with 38 psi the steering is more sharp and the ride is more bumpy. Anyhow, it is just individual preference. Enjoy!

I have mine set @ 35 for front & rear - 19". Ride is a compromise between comfort & handling. Although the sticker says 38F/39R, I find it's really bumpy on rough road.
