Software Version

Is anybody getting software updates?

Mine is at 11/2018.57.

I'm also at 11/2018.55 as is several others. It appears that is the latest version (for now).

I have the same .57, but over in the X5 forum they are reporting 03/2019.22. I am taking mine in Wednesday for the camera fix (adaptive cruise control and assisted driving faults) that are also reported on the X5. My dealer says the issue (and the fix) is the same for both cars. I asked them to update the software, as well. I will post what happens with the software.

I just updated mine to 11/2018.68. Which also appears to have resolved my tailgate issue

I had made an appointment, but it wouldn't be until a week and a half. So I thought I would try and do an update myself. Glad it worked out

Been having many issues with my 40i X7 CarPlay. Took it to the dealership and they rebooted it and said no update out there. I’m on 11/2018.55. By the way the reboot fixed the issue temporarily but now again I have to reconnect my iPhone every time I reenter the car.

Haven't had any problems really, other than wireless charger and apple pay. I don't use apple carplay. Have iPhone XS Max and latest apple update fixed the Apple Pay issue. Just wanted to make sure I'm running latest software and my car saying no update available.

Yup. I left the car unlocked last night. First thing this morning when I went out, I got a notification that the software had updated.

Tonight on the way home I got a brief "cross traffic monitor malfunction", which went away after 5 seconds

CarPlay is working pretty good for me as well but I have had to reboot my iPhone a few times to get it to reconnect after leaving and returning to the X7 so there are still a few bugs either BMW or Apple (or both) need to resolve. Other than CarPlay, everything else is working great. It's a tech-filled car and takes some time to learn what all it does but once you get the hand of it it's great fun. I showed my wife, son, and daughter-in-law how the X7 can back itself into a perpendicular parking space without me doing a thing. They were in awe. Pretty cool tech.

that apple charging issue not resolved for me in our x5 with new ios. don't think apple has addressed that yet, but maybe it's just me
