Well, that's good news!

After a long road trip, I wish I had the upgraded cruise control. My sister got a Mazda c5 a few months ago, grand touring, and it has the assisted cruise control. She loves it, and after our trip I know why. In crowded traffic conditions, it is difficult to use the regular cruise control.

My normal driving doesn’t ever require that, but if you drive congested highways with any regularity, I’d highly recommend it.
Thank you for your reply and input! My family and I are still discussing the upgraded cruise control option, and we're definitely going to try and see if there's a car on the dealer lots for us to test it out!

Just a quick update regarding those with concerns/questions on the LaserLights for the 2020 X7. A dealer got back to me and said that due to a supply shortage, LaserLights are still not available on the 40i, and the 50i will not get them in 2020 either (according to him). Only the M50i gets them for now.

Not sure if you ordered yet but you should check the BMW configurator. Options for the 40i have changed.

The US configurator does show this as well. LED headlights for the 40i and 50i. Only the M50i has laser.

If it's a supply-issue, this feature could very well make it to the 40i & 50i models sometime within MY20.

As soon as the shortage is over, they can put those out in no time.

Considering how long this shortage already lasts, we can now debate if it's an indication that it means it will take much longer or will be resolved shortly. THAT, I do not know...

We haven't ordered yet! We're gonna configure our car solely off of what the order guide says since the website does seem to be missing a few things here and there. I appreciate the heads-up though!

Very valid points you have. I'm really hoping that the shortage will end sometime during the middle/end of the 2020 lineup. I really like those lasers and want them, haha
