How long can you run your rotors below thickness?

For those of you who have run your rotors after they reached their minimum thickness, how long were you able to run in them (for how many more mm)? And how hard did you brake during this time?

I wouldn't recommend running the rotors below minimum spec. The chance of a rotor stress cracking and failing goes up and it would happen at the worst time. Rotors aren't that expensive or hard to change out.

If you do have to run them for a while I'd go easy on the brakes where possible.

Get Stoptech or other substitute. No reason for expensive oem or running thin rotors.

I'm sure I've run mine below min thickness. Id just replace them when you need new pads. No need to replace them before then unless they're WAY below min

Realistically you can run them well under minimum if you're just gently driving on the street. If you're tracking, certainly not recommended.
