I feel bad taking this thing on any dirt access roads, but amazed how well it does holding traction.
The x7 looks good even out in the hill country of Texas!

Camping with an X7 is definitely doable, but its cargo space is limited for modern family glamping, so either a roof box or a hitch carrier would be required to pack more stuff. I previously had a Toyota Highlander and it had more cargo and interior space to stow lots of smaller items.

Need a pick up truck! Alas, if you don’t need a pop up canopy, have a smaller cooler, and don’t need to pack a canoe, it can work quite well. The big items really need a full size pick up to make 3-5 night trips more viable.
