I ordered my 40i today and had to pay up the additional $2,700 for full black merino because the extended wasn't available. Wasn't going to settle for Sensafin and only wanted black. Sucks to invest in something I won't really appreciate and don't even know what I am getting beyond the leather dashboard.

The thing that really irritated me was not being able to the Dynamic Handling Package. In the slim chance it becomes available again before I get my allocation the dealer is going to add it.

Is what it is…
I hear you. I didn't opt for the complete DHP, but I did want the IAS. That, as of right now, is 86'd off my build as well.
It is IAS that driving the delete from what we understand which is why both the standalone and DHP are gone

I really trying my best to not complain, because after all it's a $100K car and people have real problems in their lives. But then again, I am spending $100K and should be able to get what I want. As of now, if I get an allocation before availability changes, I'm paying more for things I don't want while not being able to pay for and get the things I do want. The more I kick this around I'm leaning towards just pushing my allocation on down the line until what I want is available. Maybe with the Spring 2023 updates all of the things that are not currently available will be, plus some.

Anyone know what the November financing rebates and loyalty credits are coming in on the MY 23 X7 40i? Any changes?

Does anyone know when the next set of allocations will be released to dealers? For November builds still? Or December?

I was told by my CA that I would know by 11/2 if I had an allocation. If I do, that would be a December build.

Allocations come out the first week of the month for a build slot the following month. I think they usually drop on the second or third so it should be very soon. These will be December builds.

Unless you choose Individual options. My dealer had a week 44 slot but I'm pushed to week 48 because that's the next week they're producing Individual leather and trim. According to the Geniuses I've spoken with.

thats not 100% accurate, there are no weeks that individual option cars are made. its being pushed back due to supply chain availability of the options for your order, ie: the individual options parts for your build wont be available till week 48.

yup, its usually the first week of a month for the next month. 1st week of november for december production, first week of dec for jan production, etc etc.

Hi guys
Question, so if I get a slot for December build. How long it takes to get the car ready at the dealership. I did not pick any individual options. I really have to have the car before January. I am located in Pittsburgh area if that's make any difference

its going to depend on when in December the slot is for.
if its the first two weeks of December i would say you have a very good chance at before end of year.
after that i would guess no, because of the holidays.

Go on bmwusa.com and start a finance application, you do not need to submit it. it will show the current rate there.

I got -approved- for 5.3 as the base rate for 60. Did my salesperson just make a mistake and when my build comes in, i'll see 4.79? or do dealers try to up-charge the BMW FS rate?

they are allowed to mark up by a full 1%
its a negotiation point.

I am still waiting on an X7 allocation. Chicago dealer told me today that BMW NA hasn't given any dealers allocations yet for December. Has anyone else experienced this?

Isn't that what I said too? The geniuses I've spoken to (3x) have said that the Individual trim I chose won't be produced again until week 51 now. Keeps being pushed back.

As far as I know, there are many on this forum that have received their November allocation for December build. I have as well so your dealer may not have any allocations.

They're likely not being honest with you. Unless something has changed, the dealers receive allocation usually around the 3rd or so of the month (the first week depending on where the dates fall). This allocation is for a build the following month so they'll already have their December allocation.

Has anyone had any luck with dealers in the New England area, getting base rate financing? If so, can you please share.

Why not check with a local credit union? My local credit union is 2.99% for 60 months.
