Car insurance options

Quick question for everyone-
car insurance.
What companies are people utilizing? I’m Currently with progressive and I had an incident just three years ago now but progressive will not adjust my rates until July(my 6 month renewal) So I’m just doing my due diligence shopping for auto insurance. I’m located in California, but I know some insurance companies will not insure this car or at least that’s what I’ve been told.
Any help
Thanks

With State Farm, zero issues with getting coverage. Price will depend on a number of things, including your state so best to get quotes from multiple companies.

After being hit by a State Farm driver, and dealing with their absolute nightmare service and attitude - I'd never insure with them personally again.

I'm with Safeco, and very happy.... we moved to Safeco from Travelers when we bought the XM, as the rates were markedly better

So update. I went with AAA of California. I utilized them in the past, but when California insurance rates jumped up their rates jumped up and I left. I paid for the full year, so we’ll see what happens. It was a lot cheaper than progressive that I was using prior. Unfortunately my fiancé has a incident from last October that’s not helping matters. Thanks for everyone’s input as always.

Auto Owners - on the spouse see if it's better to have them on a separate policy with the same insurance company and play around with options/deductibles.

PURE

We use PURE insurance. Issue I keep hearing is that when you have a problem you don't want to haggle with claims and you want the insurer to live up to the terms of their policy in spirit and in fact. I've heard many of the cheaper options make a mess of claims and call all sorts of BS on the details in their policies...for which you have to be an insurance guru to decipher...
