DTC button not working

Hi all,

I went to turn off the traction control the other day but nothing happens, Tried pressing it once & long press(5 seconds) still nothing, No error lights on the dash.

The lights work as when I accelerate & wheel spin the traction control light flickers & cuts power, i've also tried hitting the breaks hard to see if the abs works & it does, I've used INPA to see if wheel speed sensors are working & they are. No error codes. I've even change the button to rule that out.

I'm running out of ideas, I wouldn't mind if a least I had a fault code, But nothing.

anyone had this before?

Thanks

Check if it's fully plugged in. If that doesn't work, replace the button cluster with a used one and see if that fixes it ( < $20)

Hmm, maybe check for voltage to the button (via the connector) from whatever source. I have never looked at the schematic for that circuit. Could also be the return wire to that source/other destination.

Right, There is voltage to the switch.

Is there anyway coding could cause this as I have coded cas, frm module for auto fold mirrors from key fob & angel eye brightness.

If you have voltage, jump it and see what happens.

Fixed, It ended up being the JBBF module which I coded window wipers to finish cycle after car turns off. Loaded the original file I saved before I coded the car, Now I can turn off my traction control.

Just shows how important it is to do a backup before you code. LOL
