I witnessed a NY mugging haha. We were outside the natural history museum. We just grabbed a bite to eat, and we sitting on the steps. An asian man was walking with bags and these 3 young black kids tried jacking all his shit. He held on so tight, so they started punching him and pushed him into a car. It was so funny tho, cause us 4 were watching in shock, but everyone else around was eating their food, still waiting in line for hot dogs 20 feet away.. lol...
I am glad you got to see and do all those fun things while on the east coast and I hope you have lasting memories!

it's jay leno that you write to to get tickets. for conan, you call. maybe it's changed in recent years but that's how it is now. i've been calling the studios every day (not kidding) from may till september and always got a response that they're currently not booking any tickets. from time to time, they would book for next year or something stupid like that. so i got it once because i waited outside for stand-by and once for actually getting through on the phone.

Hey Itznin, why is one of your brake lights out in the pic of us going into the city? I just noticed it.

Too bad Rudy is gone.... NYC is slipping back. I remember once waiting for my train at Penn Station and there was a guy sleeping on the floor. A cop came up and gave him the toe of his boot and said "Mr. Gulianni says you can't sleep here. Get up and leave!".

PS - Bella - thanks for sharing those great pictures!

X-mas time in NYC is fantastic. My first trip to NYC was at that Christmas, it was great (colder than a witch's tit, though). I got to see the first snowfall, too. More of a blizzard, really, but I was staying right outside Central Park and nothing like a walk in Central Park during the first snowfall. I'll never forget it.
