Cracked Third Brake Light

My car was delivered with a cracked third brake light which I did not make an issue of until it fell off in my garage last week.... There is a Service Bulletin (SIB 63 10 08) that covers this warranty repair. There were a number of these failures due to excess mounting tension caused by the mounting springs. Fix is to add some additional nuts as spacers to reduce tension on the plastic lens. The lens kit is $160 from the dealer so have them replace yours under warranty!

Thanks for SIB number. The crack on my car is getting bigger every week. I think I'll visit the dealer next week.
