Hi all,

Not sure if I'm using the right words to search but I can't find a direct answer.

I have a 6 speed ZF out of a 335i that I'm looking to use for a swap. I just found out today the transmission mount bracket is discontinued from BMW, but my buddy found one for an E46 that's still available. My question is will the E46 bracket still work on an E9x trans? Fitment is meant for the 6 speed ZF, but not sure if they're all the same.

E9x bracket part number: 22316774262
E46 bracket part number: 22316760532

I'll be having a custom crossmember fabricated so that's not an issue, but would like to know if an E46 bracket will fit my transmission.

I'm not sure on that but why not just get one off eBay then you have the right part that's gauranteed to fit?

I looked up the part number and nothing matching came up as a result. There seems to be one in Lithuania but the part number doesn't match
