My mistake. You took that pic in bright sunlight so you can really see the blue in it. In person Carbon Black looks almost black. I've seen two X7's in the new Tanzanite Blue II which is a very dark blue but not as dark as Carbon Black for sure. Anyhow, your ride is beautiful!

Does anyone have good pictures of the Individual Fine Wood Fineline with CrossBlack aluminum inserts trim?

Thanks! Is this what you are getting? I was thinking of getting it with the ivory blue interior but now am not sure. Would be great to see in person before ordering but I doubt I will find it on a lot.

Body lean in that size of an SUV is a problem across the brands unless there's some special suspension to counter it. I had the "active curve system" in the 2017 Merc GLS550 which helped a bit but not much compared to the regular air suspension in the previous generation GL. The only system that may work is the new E-Active body control in the new 2020 GLS ($6500 stand alone option). It has a special curvy road setting that works to counter body lean. I ordered the 2020 GLS with this system back in August and its no where to be seen in production yet.

I debated this and decided to go for 21's. First reason was summers tires and I'm not interested in changing tires every season for both cars in the garage. Second, 22's are more prone to wheel/tire damage for Northeast roads. The total expense if I opted for 22's would be around $8K additional ($5k for winter sets and around $3k for tire and wheel insurance).

Who's has driven an SUV of this size with LESS body lean?
I don't think it exists.

Yes, do make sure you do a forum search. I covered this topic extensively. Am still not sure about it, so I probably will not be going with that trim.

Thanks, I found a good thread about it. I agree it's hard to decide by just looking at the pictures. I am debating between that and Piano trim and none of the dealers within 100 miles have either.

I had piano trim on my X5M. Beautiful on day one. After that all I saw was fingerprints and hairline scratches that grew over time. Either from cleaning or just rubbing against it. Never again for me. That's the last trim I would pick.

Thanks man. I heard similar comments before so I think I will stay away from it. I may look at other trim options. For those of you that have the ivory or ivory blue interiors, what other trims did you choose?

Ours has the High Gloss Silver which looks good with the Ivory/Blue interior IMO...

High Gloss Silver. It's beautiful. My wife picked it for the X7. It was the launch trim with the blue and ivory seats so BMW thought it was the best combo too! I'm looking at leasing the M850i for myself and would get the high gloss silver. It hides fingerprints well. I have OCD

I don't see that as an option for X7 M50. Do you mean High Gloss Wood?
