Question;

If you wanna get big, do you lift or workout everday? Or every other day?

Btw, I have like 3-4 protein shakes a day.

You can workout everyday, just do one body part per day. Just make sure you're lifting for building mass and eating enough.

I try to do 4 days a week. 5 days if its a great week.

Well the thing is, when I lift, I do a full body workout.

Is that okay to do everyday or should I stick to every other day?

I the "pyramid" workout.

I wouldn't do a full body workout everyday of the week. If, for example, you insist of working out every weekday and off weekends, then go full body M W F, with cardio days Tu Th. The weekend will help you rest up. Muscles need rest and I assume you are going for endurance and tone and not bulky muscles.

^^^ Very good process for lean cut look. Although in post #134 Turbo NA states a question about getting big.. And if thats the case he may want to ditch the full body work out and start working muscle groups individually.

Yes I did mention on getting big. So a full body workout is not the ideal thing for me?

So that means I have to work indivual muscles on different days?

I dont wanna get lean or cut now, just wanna get big.

you don't want to work the same muscle group twice over two days....you have to alternate...

So I took advice from some people here and at the gym

and I made a new workout routine. . .

Tell me what you think..

( My goal is not to get lean or tone, my goal is to get big and bulky)

each day I work on a different body part. 2 body parts a day. For example,

Today I only did my biceps & triceps. I did about 4-5 "workouts," each body part and I did 3 sets of

1st set - 12 reps
2nd set - 10 reps
3rd set - 8 reps

but as I get lower with the "reps," I increase the "weight."

How does that sound?

So basically I workout every single day but with different body parts.

I've asked a lot of people questions. And 99% say you should do big muscle part and small muscle part. Thats why the classic Bi's and Back (back being the big) Chest and Tri (chest being big ) you get it.

I also like to do the pyramid. Im also going to try something every three weeks, and that's decline on the weights but keep the same reps. Something like this.

Dumbells if you can do a clean set of ten with 40lbs dumbells, you would do your ten without resting go down 5 lbs at a time and do it again 35, 30 , 25, 20, 15, 10, 5..

Its an amazing burn for the muscles but like i said it should not be done regularly. I do it every 3 weeks ONCE ONLY. (for all body parts though)

You want to be big and bulky, then up your calories and go to the split. This is the split I do when I'm going for strength and size. I do around 4 or 5 different movements with 3 sets at 6 to 10 reps.

Mon- Chest
Tues-Biceps/Abs
Wed-Legs
Thurs-Shoulders/Tris
Fri- Back/Abs
Sat- Cardio
Sun- Off

This is really what you need to do, research. There are a ton of different routines out there and you need to try for yourself and see what works. Go to ******* or anabolicminds.com/forum and do your due diligence. I've been working out most of my life and I'm still learning and trying out new routines. There's no trick to it, just hard work and a change in eating habits.

That how Arnold was able to do Chest, Back, Legs, Abs, Calves, Forearms every Mon, Wed, Fri and Biceps, Tris, Shoulders every Tuesday, Thurs, Sat. Some days two a days. No one would be able to recover in time to promote growth unless they ate d-bol for every meal like him.
