Aha, thanks.... only saw the two icons. Didn't realize it was swipeable for more. That's an important one.

Agree, they should have made the "cards" smaller or larger to provide enough visual context that the row as swipe-able or tap-able, eg. tap your vehicle to find more vehicle status info

This app is not intuitive at all lol. I was just clicking everywhere and finally found that tapping the car takes you to this page

Just downloaded and logged in without issue. Aside from the refresh look and lack of the vehicle info not much has changed. I hope they add the ability to lower and raise the car. I do like the individual camera views on the remote 3d. I don't think that was available on the BMW connected app.

You can view individual cameras in the current ConnectedDrive app in Remote 3D. Just require a bit more taps to get the the detailed view where you can select the individual camera view captured.

new app isn't bad at all. it's actually pretty easy to find everything if you simply forget about the other app and where it placed things. tiles move like they usually do in layouts like this

Love the refresh look! Icon isn't great but UI is so much better.

Anyone use the remote start yet? That was the most frustrating for me in the old app. It took forever to confirm it was started.

The version of that in the new My BMW app is "Start Climatization". says:

Says if the engine is started, it will run for 15 minutes to climatize your BMW.

Tried to climatize this morning and still takes forever to tell me it worked. Usually the lights flash but didn't this time. Hopefully BMW finds a way to make that a better user experience.

I tried to climatize this morning. My x7 started within 10-20 secs. My iPhone screen does not refresh right away. However, if you pull down on the entire app screen it will refresh to reflect the operation is complete. This also works if you turn off in the same manner. You need to refresh the screen to update the status.

I don't know if I'm missing something. I tested the new app on android and IOS. I don't see an area for remote 3d view or software updates. Do you guys still have the 3d view functionality in the new app?

Oh wow. I missed the swipe left option. This app is starting to make sense to me. The tile and swipe appearance is a common.

Also once you open the trunk, window, door and I'm assuming the roof it will show open.

I just downloaded the app and was able to get all functions from the older app to work. As was mentioned earlier in this thread, you need to "unlearn" the old app and using the new one is not that bad. Still would like to see new functionality instead of just a facelift...

Thanks. I tried swiping left, didn't work. Had to uninstall the app and reinstall for it to allow the left swipe

Now app shows my left rear window open when I know it's closed. Old app does not show any windows open.

The window can be very slightly open to show open. Did you pull up on the button and not just eye it and assume it's closed?

Yup lowered all 4 windows then raised all 4. New app still shows left rear window open.
