Who has the highest mileage
I’m particularly interested in the 2023 or newer M60i as it has the new S68 M division built engine, but please post up your mileage and any issues you may have had.
I’m approaching 20,000 miles with zero issues. Trying to see if there are any trends or things popping up as this new engine gains mileage. For example, Audis were notorious for fuel pump failures after a certain number of miles/time. |

Not your model, but I am getting about 26 mpg on my X40i on a combination of city and state road driving with lights and traffic. It goes well over 30 mpg on the state roads.

I saw a few high mileage X7's at local dealer. 2019 and 2020 that were used by the local golf resorts to shuttle their guests around. They were listed as pre-owned with 100k+ miles on each. They were sold pretty quickly.

I figured you read it wrong, just joking with you. 🤣
To add to this thread, out of five X vehicles, two X5 and three X7's the only major issue to me was my 2015 X5 50i used what I thought was a lot of oil. 2 quarts every ~3k miles. Traded it with 60k miles. Still ran great though. |

Also curious to hear more about the 100k+ ones and what kind of maintenance/repairs they’ve needed so far, especially on the M50 V8. Which has come a long way since the 2008 version, however not many high mileage TU3’s out there yet to truly know how much better the new ones are.

30k on 2020 M50i, weird differential/transfer case whine that is sometimes bad (when hotter) and sometimes minimal, waiting for it to get worse before going back to dealer. The first time they didn't do anything because they "didn't know what to tell BMW it was". Hoping to keep this car to +100k miles.

Oh wow. This must be one of the highest mileage ones I’ve seen on the forum so far. Do you mind sharing what the maintenance items were so far and/or if any out of maintenance issues? I assume you changed brakes at least once, if not twice?

Last month for state inspection dealer told me I need new spark plugs and one other item. I postponed until I throw the winters on in November. And since I’ve posted I’ve had the same tire patched twice (in waiting area now) and my rear sunroof shade is stuck open. Ha. But other than rubber and brakes, I think this is the first actual issue. |
