Sure I have overlooked it, but where is the battery in my X7 40i? I know where the mild hybrid battery is, but where is the main battery?

I’m not sure how exactly to get to it, but I believe its under the spare tire well in the trunk.

There are charge and jump points in the engine compartment however.

In the back trunk, underneath the little plastic piece is the actual battery.

there should be a second battery under the hood, passenger side iirc, but the main battery is, as ^^said, in the trunk

As mentioned above, the main battery is below the rear cargo floor. See G1 in the illustration below:

Removing luggage compartment well:

• Remove the expanding rivet (1).
• Guide the luggage compartment well (2) out and remove.

Why do you ask? Is it to charge or replace?
