Center console trim removal

Hi folks - I somehow got something stuck in the cup holder storage area that is preventing me from opening the lid. I tried everything to get in there but can get it out and it’s driving me nuts. My last resort is to remove the trim but I’m hesitant to break it. This YouTube video says you can just pry it out with a screwdriver but again, I think I might break it. Anyone have some advice or removed the trim before?

the video left out a key piece of information in order to remove the center console. I may even think he did it on purpose. you will break the console if just try to pry out the panel as shown in video.
you need to first remove the side panels, then remove the two screw holding the panel on each side.
