I am curious how you got the custom stitching? Maybe I am doing it wrong or perhaps I need to call? I really like the look

Probably just takes a phone call to the company. I wish I would have known about it, would have had my stitching changed as well

Yes when I ordered online they offered an option for each piece to add colored stitching for an added charge. I don't see the option any more but perhaps they may still offer if you call or email.

Has anyone ordered and received the canvasback liner recently? I'm curious how accurate the 4-6 week lead time is?

I already bought the weathertech cargo liner for the floor. But I'm also looking for a product to cover the second row bench seat back plus the third row arm rests. Anyone have something for that?

I have had one of those quilted fake leather liners from a Chinese supplier on Amazon for an Audi SUV before. Smelled for a long time and the self adhesive velcro didn't hold well so I ended up stitching it to the carpet. But it had more coverage. And I know my dog is going to end up scratching up those third row arm rests if I don't cover them...

Just ordered the canvas craft liner with side panels today. We have a 75lb golden retriever and a 20lb mini golden doodle. I have a feeling they will ruin the 3rd row armrest for sure.

Tagging along for solutions to protect the 3rd row armrest

Can you provide a link for this? I'm curious how well it covers the third row armrest area. Thanks.

Looking at these options in the context of transporting 2 large dogs (Bernese and Pyrenees), I see the arm rests and the sealtbelt are at risk.
The arm rests from the claws if they try to sniff out a cracked window or want to see what mom and dad are eating in the front, and the seatbelts from chewing (our Pyranees is a puppy at 3yrs old and chewed through my Jeep Wrangler's sealtbelt this past XMas to the tune of $700 in repairs - I dread to think what a BMW belt replacement would cost with dealer labor!).

The soft/padded covers like Canvasback will help contain shed hairs (both shed a lot!), but the claws and teeth are not accounted for if they get bored, curious or anxious.

$700 to swap out seat belts in a Wrangler? Did they lube you up before providing that invoice?

The canvassback also offers a additional piece to cover the tail gate. Anybody order that and what length. Comes in 19, 20 and 24 inch I think.

Interim solution until some company can come up with a custom made solution. Not the best fit or look but functional.

My canvasback liners finally came in and finished the install today. Am I missing two small pieces on the tail gate?

Those of you that bought the liners please chime in.

No, not missing anything. These two pieces slide together when they close, which is why you can't mount anything on that circled part.

I don't have my canvasback kit yet, but I did remember reading that on their site

Looks like it doesn't actually provide any protection to the 3rd row arm rest area though.

Yup that's the only downside. This was made to prevent dog hair from sticking to the carpeting

I believe there are still no commercial solutions available that will protect the 3rd row armrests - which surprised me as the X7 has been out for a while now.

I've seen those diamond stitched fitted liners on Amazon but I don't like how it looks. We've rented a GLS on Turo years ago and it had those same covers and it just ruined the whole look and it also had a weird smell to it.
