Honestly I doubt it. IMO the RR buyer does not acquire that vehicle for the engine. Also, the driving dynamics most likely will not be in the same ballpark as the X7. As Mystro said the GLS63 is probably the closest competitor now.

Looks better here than on the new 7er. Still not a fan from the photos/renders so far but probably looks better in person.

I think it looks good, but doesn't look like a traditional BMW since the introduction of the angel eyes idea. But at the same time, the new 7 will have this look, as will probably all BMW's in the future. So maybe this is the new 'angel eye' icon for BMW

There is a BMW Belarus? Why are they still operating in a Russian vassal state?

I am just surprised there is still activity there with the war and all.

+1 with the "Not bad. Don't love it, don't hate it. Need to see it in person" crowd.

Yes, possibility this is a false render, but my sense is this is a real sighting.

One thing, for us X7 people, the chrome on the sides makes it look like that picture is the "Luxury Line" model. Which is interesting because the front nose has much less chrome than the current X7 Luxury Line, and the lower bumper styling is a bit more like the current X7 Sport Line.

Definitely need to see it in person, see the appearance of the various lines and options. See the headlights in operation. See the interior (which will have the new large dash screen). Then I'll form a true final opinion.

Regardless how it turns out, I'm still thrilled with my loaded 2021 X7 M50i, and won't be trading in.

Meh….not a fan. No car on the road that I see that has split lights looks good. The X7 actually looks great….people cried about the grilles originally but I do think they are proportionate.

If they used similar headlights as the iX, I feel it would have been fine. But to use a split headlight design language ripped off from Hyundai (Santa Fe and Kona) is really unfortunate. Otherwise, the rest of the vehicle looks good.

So it's not horrible but it's not classic BMW like either. However it's the current look that you are seeing going around and it will look dated quicker because it's unfortunately not timeless.

BMW seems to be in transition mode to their new EV look so these designs are now trying to stretch the gap. I wouldn't mind the new look if I was holding onto it for just a short time but for long term ownership I would skip. I'm waiting to see what's next after the iX.

Funny how everyone is now saying the current ore LCI car looks great, if you went back 4 years in threads, you'd find majority of people calling that awful, too big grill etc

I think the Jeep Cherokee really started this trend.

I'm not a fan of the design language. The new G8X looks great, not so much this

It’s a squinty eyed mess with a bit of the predator jaws. BMW is just destroying their designs with every new release.
That front end has a 10 years back Infinity QX80 vibe about it.

Looks like I will be looking into the next GLS63 when I am ready to buy and see if MB can keep some continuity in their design language.
If you didnt know, German designers went to Korean companies.

It seems that horizontal downwards pointing hockey sticks as DRLs are in vogue now, Audi's new A6 Avant e-tron concept (published last week) has somewhat similar design: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y-WRUd6rEMQ

What is though not similar, is that at least on the concept car there is no need for a separate head light unit. I wonder why BMW would not be capable to do the same with modern led technology?

As usual: "a lot of" negative feedback among fans in the Internet (and in the Internet in general), but for sure this model will have great sales IRL.

P.S. Ofc if they'll give production for Russia....)

Doubt it. Jaguar Land Rover sales reps aren't going to be saying "hey, this Range Rover is now powered by a BMW engine!" like that's supposed to help sales. On the flip side, IYKYK and ain't no BMW engine going to help save the rest of the car. We can laugh and joke about German reliability but the entire Range Rover brand embodies what s--t reliability is.

This is anecdotal, but no one I know buys a Range Rover because they want a Range Rover. They do it because they can make easy money buy transferring their lease after 6-8 months.
Friend of mine had Range Rover (bought new) with a BMW engine when BMW still owned them. Car looked awesome but was full of problems (engine 3.0 diesel was fine). He said never again he would buy it. New RR looks great, but they usually do.

To be fair it looks better than I thought it would. I need to see it in person but I actually think it might look better than the current design.

I must admit, I was skeptical about the split-headlight design, but after seeing the i7 as well as the X7 LCI, I like it a lot more than I thought I would. The X7 is the ultimate SUV IMO.
