How to datalog with MHD

Searched throughout the forums but wasn't able to find clear-cut instructions on how to log with MHD after purchasing the datalogger. Do i just need to do a couple WOT pulls in 3rd?

Click on the monitor tab ,from there you can pick the gauge type and functions you want to see and there will be a tab that say start logging. The logs will be saved in the mhd folder on your android and you can datazap them from there once you setup a account .If this is what your trying to figure out.Other than that yeah you just mash on it in third, I read other post about different techniques ,Iam in the country so I can floor it from 1-5 .The new update has auto logging too.
Go to the MHD post ,the last 10 some where in the last 10 pages there is a guide they made and also through out the post there is alot of information

If you have the latest version of MHD, you can select autolog and it will start logging automatically once the gas pedal goes beyond a certain %...not sure what the number is.

I'm sorry to hijack your thread, but I did not want to open a new topic for this.

When logging with MHD, "Torque actual value", it logs very high torques.
See here: http://www.datazap.me/u/cuprani/stoc...g=0&data=21-28

I'm completely stock with my N54, but is registers an 480 NM @ 5500 rpm.
Is this the torque at the crank or on the wheels?

If I translate this to HP it does about 400 HP, which can't be right for a stock car? It gives an 0,55 bar boost (8 PSI).

Which are the correct torques? And why is MHD giving this high (incorrect) torques?

That translates to only 354 ft/lbs and that's at the crank. If it's accurate at all it roughly translate to around 300 ft/lb at the wheels. Take it with a grain of salt. You're nowhere close to 400 hp, crank or wheels. Put it on a dyno if you really want to know.

I want to monitor every step from stock to FBO and want to measure every change.

stock
stage 1 MHD
stage 1 MHD with intake
stage 1 MHD with intake & DP
stage 2 MHD withintake & DP
stage 2 MHD with intake, DP & FMIC
stage 2+ MHD with intake, DP & FMIC

That's going to cost me more for the use of a dyno ($120 for every run) than the whole of the FBO itself, so that's not an option.

If you're really interested in measuring the changes in a meaningful way buy a Vbox. It will provide more real world, useful feedback than anything MHD can give you.
