Swapping or Repairing Second Row Climate Control Panel

My second row panel pushes in a half inch or so. Dealer tried to snap into place and said the brackets are broken and I need a whole new part. $450 total to get the thing back to normal.

Is this thing easy to access and replace? Seeing used ones on ebay for $200 or so. Or I may just rig it back into place with glue or something. Pic for reference below:

looks pretty simple to get out, i would get a set of nylon trim pry tools.
for 400 bucks, i would try hot melt glue to secure the panel into place at the spots where the clips were.

I changed this exact part out on my Q7. It took less than 5 mins....and I am NOT handy. Buy it second hand from a place that does returns and don't look back.

Yeah these little fixes are adding up...

Had to swap middle, lower circular trim piece around radar and lower drivers side grill from a rock hit and it was $1200! I would have said pound sand but they installed all my IND reflectors free of charge so I went for it.

Car pool kids had kicked mine and broken a part so thats a good possibility to what happened to yours. And they do add up....

Hi - Did you ever figure out a fix? Did you glue it into place? Sadly car pool kids in my car also kicked it in or something.

Thanks.

I did not... I'm going to have my local guy try to do something with an adhesive sometime soon though...
