You can disable it by having it recognize the key of each driver.

It recognizes our keys but if I used my wife's key I have to input that info after I press my profile. Basically, we want to use one key and just hit our profile name (it would be me as it's her car) without having to type in that crap each time.

Unfortunately you cannot have two profiles linked to one key without PIN. At least there is no method that I am aware of. Guest may be the only "unlocked" profile.

Do you know if it's possible to link two keys to the same profile? I would like to have my profile on the normal key and on the display key. I can't manage to put it on both. Once I program one the other one loses the profile. If I have both keys in the car while programming idrive tells me to remove one.

I had it like this on another BMW without issue. Both of those keys should store the same profile and automatically load when you approach the vehicle.
