X7 LCI First Sighting -- Spotted With Lower Split Headlights

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Admin update July 5, 2021 with more revealing pics:

Here's a best look yet the LCI X7's split level front lights, which we've also been seeing on X8 and 7-Series prototype pics. The grille also looks slightly wider and the hood and front bumper get updated designs.

At the back we can also spot some new designed rear lights together with new shaped exhaust pipes and updated rear bumper.

LCI Start of Production is August 2022 (per future model info thread)

Alright, now I'm officially worried this is part of the new design language since this is the third mule with it...Would be horrible timing after the Genesis lineup got to it first. I'm having a hard time picturing how BMW can make the split headlight design look good, but we'll see...

From the X8 renderings, they can not. At all.

God damn that does not look good . This bmw design language is really going downhill. Looks like some old Jeep with those low lights.

I have very little faith in the current BMW design team. I wont buy a vehicle I have to "get use to".

OK I'm a 12 car fan boy but these designs are .... just not to my taste at all. At this stage the design team have just lost it and are being 'controversial' just for the sake of it.

Split headlights, oh dear me. Citroen C4 cactus or whatever but not here.

Also grills higher than the lights looks terrible.

Are the design team a secret plant from Mercedes trying to tank BMW? Seriously, the Infiniti QX80 wants it's weird front end design back. Looking more and more as though my G01 will be my last BMW for awhile.

Maybe this is completely a misnomer, but the driver assistance radar looks MASSIVE compared to the current X7. The current gen is also a circular shape, whereas this is a trapezoid.

BMW designs are turning into one of those celebrities who was originally pretty but kept getting plastic surgery and making themselves worse.

It definitely looks like it is a new wider design.

I'm not feeling That design simply is either fake / camouflage is playing tricks on my eyes or its disco ball design all over. The headlights look like they are from 80's. Fog lights are round and look pre 2013 era. Are they really going back to projector lens headlights ?

What's with the Durango hood front look.

I'm I missing something or bmw is missing with us 🤔

The X8's likely front fascia for reference - similar except the lower grille, a la X5/X6

Will reserve judgement but I’m a bit worried, I’ve grown quite fond of the current front end, particularly blacked out in M-sport trim. Hoping for the best here.

Every time I see this render all I can think of is the refreshed Santa Fe.

Why would the design team put these mules out in public view if they didn't want input? That said, this X7 LCI has a lot of camouflaged so its anyones guess what the new design actually looks like. I'm sure we'll have a better idea in the coming weeks and months.

I like the X8 render above and the Santa Fe is kind of cool looking as well.

Why split the lights though?

Oh wait everyone else is doing it, I see, continue.
