X5 & X7 Individual Paint Colors Available March 2021

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
I have been bugging my friend who is the sales manager at my dealer about ordering Individual paint for an X7 order in another color that is not offered now. He was able to get this list of colors that will be available starting in March which adds a few new options. I was leaning Grigio Telesto for my wife's new soccer mom monster, now these additional choices may have to go Petrol Mica. Not sure if this has been posted here so thought i would share the list.

Sepia Violet Metallic (474)
Frozen Deep Grey Metallic (P7X)
Atlantis Metallic (399)
Macadamia Metallic (U80)
Midnight Sapphire Metallic (R71)
Orinoco Pearl Metallic (406)
San Marino Blue Metallic (B51)
Malachite Dark Green Metallic (205)
Verde Ermes Pearl Metallic (P7T)
Brass / Messing Metallic (621)
Zanzibar Metallic (P7W)
Lime Rock Grey Metallic (C39)
Gunmetal Metallic (W24)
Ruby Black Metallic (X03)
British Racing Green (213)
Ruby Red Metallic (S03)
Petrol Mica (305)
Avus Blue Metallic (276)
Grigio Telesto Pearl Metallic (P6M)
Frozen Black Metallic (U91)

Thanks for the list, of those I would be most interested in Gunmetal Metallic. I think BMW should offer the X7 in classic BMW silver, and that's somewhat close.

Petrol Mica was one of the first options offered. We have one X7 with this colour coming (hopefully next month).

I absolutely LOVE Malachite dark green ever since I saw it on an E60 M5. Would love to see one on an M50i 👀

I'm loving BMW SUV's in Individual colors. Makes them more special than they already are!

Are these of the $1,950 individual paint variety or the $5,000 true individual paint group.

$5000-$5500 490 Special Paints and not the $1950 SABI - TB2, Dravit, Ametrin

Though Ruby Black was a very limited run and $1950 SABI on MY19 G05 model.

Ruby Black would look amazing on the X5 and X7! I'm glad Individual Paint is starting to open up on models that deserve it.

FWIW when I saw the gunmetal (was my top choice too) it was two shades away from Arctic gray.

In fact the looked so similar, it wasn't until the sunlight hit that I noticed the slightest difference.

As much as I liked the color, spending $5,500 and additional wait times just didn't make much sense anymore

I agree, Gunmetal is gorgeous with shades too close to Arctic Grey and then there's the cost difference between the two - $0 N/C vs $5500 though owners who appreciate Gunmetal aren't price conscious LOL. Classic BMW silver would be great... something like Pure Metal Silver without the cost *faints* LOL.

Looks like 1992 Camaro Teal. IMO that’s a color that needs to stay in 1992.

That's a key point. These new paints are nice and exotic, but it has to be worth an extra $5k+ to a person over some good looking standard colors.

I still would like a classic BMW Titanium Silver. I don't know if BMW just feels that's too 90's to continue. I think it's timeless.

Thank you for your time and the information. Both X5 and X7 have some boring color selections. However, for someone who wants to lease these cars for 3 years might not want to spend $5K+ just for paint. The Arctic Grey and the Dark Graphite must go.

BMW USA needs to re-evaluate their options and packages as well, especially for the X5. They took away the automatic soft close doors and the cool/heated cup holders from the US market.

They also took away the soft close doors and the 4-zone climate control on the 5 series. Also, the US 5 series is not getting the Laserlights and the touch climate control, which is now standard on all 5 series models in NA, Europe, and the Middle East.

Those who hot the 2019 and 2020 X5 and X7, their cars is more equipped than the 2021. The same goes for the 5 series.

100% agreed on the Titanium Silver (or any silver for that matter)

I mean how is it that you get 3-4 blues, a few different blacks, a couple of grays, a couple of whites as standard paint options but not one single silver!

If my G05 was offered in silver, I'd have purchased it 6-8 months sooner without a doubt.

My wife was dying for a red car. We both agreed that the X7 was the best SUV, but it was the only one in it's class that doesn't include a standard red paint option. That pretty much forced our hand into Ruby Red. BTW, there's a gorgeous video of an X5 in Ruby Red - simply stunning!
