Can't combine loyalty ($750) + $3250 military. Loyalty requires financing through BMWFS, the other prohibits it.

If you're paying cash, you're not financing through BMWFS.

Is there anything special you have to do once you get the Penfed discount code? Do I need to finance with Penfed?

No you do not need to finance with PenFed. The only restriction is that you cannot finance with BMWFS if you want the full $3,250. You can finance with anyone else, or pay cash.

Two Dealers near me have 8 and 16 cars in stock, but I still don't see any discounts other than the Loyalty.

Hi all. What are folks seeing as far as discounts off msrp on x7 40i (before any incentives) in this market. Found a spec I like at Florida dealer arriving in a few weeks and the best I've been able to do is msrp. They initially wanted $10k over msrp.
Thanks!

My broker was able to get $2k off msrp. Everyone else wanted msrp or more. I also ordered a X7 40i. I'm in the Bay Area in CA

When you say 2k, does it include loyalty?

I actually ended up with a $2300 discount because it took so long to get the car due to a stop sale. That doesn't include the $750 Loyalty Rebate.

Past few weeks I've been looking for an X7 M50i for my wife. Kilter is showing nearly 250 M50i's available around the country (and 1100 total X7's). Some have been sitting on lots for a while, yet the few feelers I've put out are coming back MSRP or more. Pretty interesting how dealers aren't budging even though they have in stock inventory.

And spare me the supply chain crisis. I was looking at the historical sales of the X7, dealers are moving just as many cars today as they did in 2019. When you have 1100 sitting on lots around the entire country there's no supply chain issue. LOL.

Guess I'll be waiting cause no way I'm paying MSRP for this car, when two years ago you could get 10 to 15% off.

Then you are going to be waiting awhile.

Possibly. But we'll see what Omicron does to dealer pricing in the next two or three months.

On September 9, 2021, I placed an order for a 2022 BMW X7 M50i through a broker named David Aviles. Even though David is a independent broker, all of his emails and conversations with me suggest that he is linked to the dealership, BMW of Catonsville. When placing the order with David Aviles, it was communicated on several occasions, both via phone call and text message, that I would be personally picking up my vehicle at the BMW South Carolina factory. During this time, I would also be able to attend the complimentary BMW Performance Center Experience. David Aviles summarized this process and added that he would need to overnight the lease agreement paperwork to my home address so that BMW could receive the purchase documentation two weeks prior to my pick up at the factory. Throughout the past month, I have contacted David Aviles several times through text message (all of this is documented and can be easily produced).
On 9/9/21, David Aviles provided me the “Vehicle Inquiry’ order form. On this pdf, I was given an Order Production # and with that number, I was able to track my vehicles production on the BMWUSA.com website. This gave me insight as to the progress of the vehicle and gave me a good idea of when the car would be completed.
Over the past two weeks, I have contacted David Aviles several times questioning why I have not received the lease agreement paperwork in the mail. Seeing the cars production status getting closer to completion, I became more worried that I would not get the paperwork in the mail in time in order to send it back to BMW two weeks prior to my pick up at the South Carolina factory.

David Aviles is now blatantly ignoring my text messages and phone calls. As of yesterday, 10/4/2021, the tracking shows that my vehicle was ‘dispatched from the factory’ and is in route to the dealership. I contacted BMW corporate today at 9:32am and spoke with Jasmine, who advised me that the BMW X7 M50i, has indeed, left the factory late last night and was en-route to BMW of Catonsville.

On October 5, 2021 at 11:14am ET, I placed an outbound call to David Lee, General Sales Manager at BMW of Catonsville. During this phone call, David Lee informed me that the vehicle order that was placed on 9/9/2021 by David Aviles was placed under David Aviles’ name and not under the customers name. David Lee could not provide justification for why this was done as placing a vehicle order in the name of the customer is generally normal sales practice. David Lee then went on to inform me that there had been a huge mistake and that my vehicle that I had ordered was accidentally sold to another customer by a different sales representative at BMW of Catonsville. David Lee stated that he took ownership of this mistake and that the only thing he could provide me is a brand new vehicle order; one that would require I wait until end of November to receive.

Over the past month, I have lied to and deceived by BMW of Catsonville. Just looking at their reviews online, I could quickly see that there has been similar occurrences with other customers. Having been promised a vehicle and now uncovering that I was being lied to all along has caused extreme stress and anxiety for me. Please help me! Where do I start with getting help?
Sorry to hear this, I dont know what is up with David over the past few years. I did a Euro Delivery M3 through him in 2013 and it went flawlessly (thank god since we flew to Germany) until I got home.

He transferred dealers from Maryland to Steve Thomas and it became a nightmare to register my car when it got back in the US. Thankfully Steve Thomas came through and made it right.

Thinking it was a blip we bought and X5 through him in 2016 and did performance delivery pickup. While the car was completed and picked up correctly the original lease numbers were so off because he calculated the tax all wrong for my state that it change the payment so much we just sended up purchasing it instead.

He did the same thing very responsive upfront and then not so much after the deal. Something is up for him to have been through so many dealers.

Nice guy, unfortunately, I have seen more and more stories like this one.

Not sure if this question goes here - on the G05 forum, there is one for order tracking, but on the G07 forum, I don't see one. What is the production timeframe for X7 M50i? Any new updates given the chaos from the supply chain challenges?

11/24 or earlier -> Order received
12/15 -> Production Begins

No change since then.

Thank you.

Takes about 10+ days for something to happen from "production begins" status
