Especially considering the X7 headlights are amazing and looks stunning with the laser. This is madness

It's 20 months away...wow what the heck, this is really early leaking of pics then.

Completely awful!

Lexus, Peugeot, Renault sort of split, multipart, etc headlight are WRONG not a trend to follow....

BMW have lost their mind.... It’s sad to see how great was the G-series car beginning (7 Series, X3, 5 Series, X5).... and how they are ruining it,,,,

Just like I was banned from the new M4 forum even though I own a first gen M4

I guess they want to make sure I never buy the new generation

I think they might be on to something

Imagine that

Not sure why everyone's up in arms over the temporary fake headlight assembly.

So stupid. I really hope they're not doing a 'split' headlight. The current X7 is such a good looking SUV, especially BECAUSE of the headlight design. If they really have to change it, just clean it up a bit like they did to the 5 series LCI, make tail lights '3-D', and call it a day. No reason to f*ck up a perfectly good design

BMW did the same to the M2's iconic design

Great design but NO they had to unnecessarily give it the conjoined kidneys treatment

I thought we had moved on from this look when Jeep abandoned it on the revamped Cherokee - much to the relief of Cherokee fans and beyond.

I am pretty sure the X5 LCI will also get the same treatment.

The X5 is my last hope at remaining a BMW owner. I pray they do an LCI similar to the 5-series and not one like the X7 shown here.

How BMW camouflages their upcoming vehicles

Thank you for this
It really confirms my assumption
And glad I was right for two reasons
1. Being right. As what I was seeing didn't makes sense.
2. BMW keeping us on our toes till the end.

Yeah, it makes me wonder if the LCI might get moved up. According to the Future Model thread, the X7 LCI production starts 8/22, but the activity we've seen makes it look like the LCI might start sooner than that.

Perhaps MY2022, starting 8/21?

Please tell me this isn't happening. As a 4 Series owner, there is just so much redesign I can handle and the X7 was the only thing keeping me grounded.

The sales manager at my dealer who I am friends with told me The X7 LCI will start production this summer. I had asked him about ordering a car this spring for my wife and he said to wait until May or June when he can order a 2022 Model.

Funny how people skipped right over the post where the guy showed how BMW heavily camouflages their upcoming designs, especially the headlights.

Most aren't happy unless there's something to complain about. What a sad existence it must be.
