Seat temp via remote start

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
In the bitter cold I remotely start my 2019 40i. When I get in the car, I notice that the driver's seat indicator is one blue bar. This despite the fact that it is below zero. The steering wheel heating is on. I looked at the manual but it isn't exactly the easiest thing to navigate.

Can someone please tell me how to get the seat to warm instead of cool on cold days?

If you hit the menu key on the climate control panel, you can access the climate control rules section. This will allow you to adjust the temperatures for when the heated seats/ventilated seats come on automatically.

Check both settings for seat heating and ventilation. Make sure correct temperatures are selected for both conditional (based on ambient temperature) seat heating and ventilation. I'm assuming you know that both options can be selected at the same time as the seat actually does not cool ...
