Thanks for the data. Might have to check out your shop and XM one of these days - I’m local. I just took delivery last Monday.

Looks like you used SP Engineering’s dyno. They tuned my GTR back in the day. I also was informed by my friend, Stef, that you worked on his M8 Gran Coupe. Good stuff.

Have you driven an XM? I have, since my wife fell in love with it when picking up my X3MC from being serviced at the local dealer a few weeks ago.... and it's very underwhelming and disappointing for an "M" vehicle.

I launched it a few times, did a bunch of WFO pulls etc (spent 45mins behind the wheel)and there's no way this fat pig is beating a stock Trackhawk. Even with an additional 60hp from RC.

I have some idea about it, but since BMW not allowing us to code the car anymore. (Maybe not yet).
I can’t do much about it.

I think I just saw yours posted on Stef’s IG getting tint. Am I right?

Any idea when Racechip will be available for the S68 in G05, G06, G07, F95 LCI, and F96 LCI or too early to tell?

So I know the weight keeps coming up over and over and over but I have to imagine once this trickles down to the X5M, which already weighs 5,489lbs or shy of the XM by one average sized American (lol), it’s going to touch 6 too. No?

Who cares if it can beat a Trackhawk? Who is cross shopping a $90k Jeep Grand Cherokee with a BMW? Look at the Trackhawk interior, it’s trash. It’s apples and oranges, or Tang…

I didn't bring up the Trackhawk comparison,I simply commented on what was already posted,or did you miss that?. I'm quite sure nobody is cross shopping an XM with any Jeep.

But since you brought it up,the headliner in $90k Jeep Grand Cherokee is miles ahead of the crappy thing hanging from the interior of a $160k XM. Touche'

sounds like maybe he was just intending to add on to the original question/conversation, as opposed to a personal response to you? maybe just some food for thought...

in all fairness -- regarding the cross shopping and jeep comment -- I AM thinking about adding a rubicon 392 to my stable... does that count? lol

Been running it in my XM for almost a week, must say on 93 it sure does add a lot.. Long time BMS user but when I saw the post form RG Sport I wanted to check out Racechip again… Limited control and monitoring relative to the JB4 but it is more of a just plug and go solution.. Very impressed with the gains…

What’s the pricing on the unit? Are there switchable maps? I throw in some pump 100 oct in my cars time to time and would like to utilize that. Forgive my knowledge as the last time I threw a piggyback on a BMW of mine was back in 2009 in my 335i lol.

Pricing is on my website. MSRP is $828, but discounted on my website.

It comes with 7 map, map 5 at default.

100 Octane will make your car happy and RaceChip will compensate that better octane automatically.

Who knows The headliner in the XM is something everyone who gets in notices and wants to touch. It’s different. Not sure the alcantara (is it?) in the Jeep is actually better as I’ve never been in one.

I can’t wait on the discussion about best MPG.

But hey, haters can hate.
Look at the new G90 M5 feedback. So many haters like when G8x M3/M4 were leaked, but guess what. People are willing to pay markups and extra money to change the front end. Smh.

At least with XM, there is no mark up, and only 40k more than the top of the line 3/4 series.

My XM was "only" about 7k more than the x6m I specced. (153k vs 146k).

I was initially a bit hesitant about foregoing the x6m as I thought that car looked better but honestly, I'm starting to appreciate the XM more. It's more rare, has more a bit more status / space, and can run on EV.

Is the XM slower? Yes. Uglier? Subjective ...but mostly yes. But the aforementioned benefits more than outweigh the negatives in this case.

Exactly. Same as owning a Tesla.
Boring? Yes. Ugly? Yes. A lot of flaw? Yes.
But so many of them on the street.
I tried to like X6M, I can’t. The rear slope just don’t work. It did work on the E71, but it gets weird with times.
