The interesting part, according to United Road my car was supposed to be picked up by Sept 15 but it was in QC until Sept 17. The status in United Road shows “OnHold” means BMW is not releasing my car to the carrier yet. BMW Genius says car will be picked up today by United and delivered by 21st.

Hope this is not another tactic to keep customers engaged.

You might have to refresh the page few times until you see a Google captch (I am not a robot). It doesn’t display every time. Once you see it and click on the button search will be enabled.

Then you see an option to register your email to track for the dealer
You will receive an email with password (check junk folder)
Once you login you will see current shipments for the dealer
If you don’t see your shipment search with the load number displayed when you enter your VIN in step 2 above.
You will see the status and can track the status (pick up scheduled date, actual pick up date and possible delivery date. I see a map as well not sure if it is live tracking.


BTW - Mine is on hold status in United Road, but Awaiting carrier assignment in MyGarage. I believe BMW is moving some out of QC but holding them in Awaiting carrier assignment to keep us happy.

So tried this but got an email from United Road with the following message. Don't think they will allow individuals to track the entire dealer loads.

44 days in QC. I read here that they only update status on the car in the morning, is this true? Has anyone seen there status change mid day or even towards the end of the day? I’m so antsy at this point and just worried my truck is going to be riddled with glitches. Anyone receive their car already after and extended period of time in QC with any issues?

Tried these instructions also. Grabbed a VIN from my dealer that was already delivered but still won't let me register. I think they took away the option to register your email address as the message from the trucking site just says I need to register my email but gives me no way to do that.

Update* after 44 days in QC I skipped straight to awaiting carrier assignment! Let’s see how long this phase takes.

On Friday I was at 150 'scheduled for production'. Sunday night I was at 'assembly in progress'.

Then, this morning 9/19, I'm already at Awaiting carrier assignment'! Shows that should be at the dealership in Houston this coming Saturday. There is hope!

Not all vehicles are going through United Road, so it's possible you have a different shipper. I know mine was shipped using someone else.

Mine just updated to Awaiting Carrier sometime in the last two hours, so it does update throughout the day. Mine has been in QC almost 40 days. I'll update the spreadsheet. I haven't decided if I am going to keep this car or not as I may just take another allocation.

The new builds seem to be moving faster. Mine originally had a production date of 9/22 which was bumped to 9/20. Went down assembly line yesterday 9/20 and into QC, and is now awaiting carrier assignment.
