Fitment is pretty good. I elected to not add any screws so it could fit a little tighter at the top but I'm not willing to add any unnecessary holes just yet. I am using double stick tape like Wild Blue did on his.

August is the best time to go, although I'm gonna be nervous driving with such a big car.

Cool. Did you get the same mudflaps I did, or a different brand?

One of the reasons why we got a X7 is so we can tow a trailer. Today we finally made that a reality and took a delivery of a travel trailer. It's a sub 4, with GVWR of just under 5000lb. The dealer installed weight distribution and sway control. So far it seems to tow very well. I do get a lot of disturbing noise while turning but was told that's expected and a good sign that WDH is working as expected. I'm using Curt Echo brake controller, with manual override button mounted under the steering wheel. It works great. Only complaint is the rubber strap is very flaky, especially the button, it comes off way too easy. Here is a few pictures.

Another unplanned adventure into the backwoods of CO. She did just fine over a variety of terrain.

I don't recall if they were the exact same ones, but these are the Speedlong branded ones from Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Excellent pics, guys.

ELP, I'd be interested to see you installation of the button by the steering wheel.

Cool. That brand was in my Amazon wish list, but when I bought, that was out of stock (as it is now) so I went with another brand. I wouldn't be surprised it they're all made by the same factory, with just different branding. But I have one piece that doesn't fit the same as the other 3. If yours fits fine all around, it may truly be a different make.

That silver on silver looks sick. I'm waiting for the X5 LCI to update my F15 X5 50i, now I want it in silver and black. Is that Donington Grey Metallic?

Interesting you mention the fitment as the back passenger one would not adhere at the top with the double sided tape no matter what tape I used so I ended up adding one screw in the upper 1/4 of the flap in the predrilled hole to secure to the fender lip. Now it stays tight at the top.

@Wild Blue Here is a couple of pictures of the override button placement, it's based on a rather simple thought process, which is (1) I didn't want this to be visible from my normal view of the cabin since it didn't match either the color or style of the car's interior, and (2) it needs to be easily accessible without obstruction. So this became the choice. Hope it helps.

Ty zmetku I envy you so much. My should be in the production by the end of July. Do you have switch for auto start, or is it the MY 2021 with mild hybrid?

Interesting. My back left mudflap has come loose of the double sided tape at the top.

Sure would be nice if BMW would make OEM mudflaps.

Cool. Is it an easy and natural reach under the steering wheel for the button?

I think so. I have seen some recommendations on where to mount those wired brake controllers, this is not too far from that. Most important factor was to make sure there is no obstruction to reach it, with added benefit of being able to use it with either side of my hands.
