Mario, swing up my way Monday morning if you can.
You can dyno right after me on the same dyno I've dynoed on many times before. 343 rwhp last time I dynoed there on JB3 1.22 Map 6 running 91 octane. I'm going to dyno again on JB3 1.3 with 91 Octane, but I just got reflashed to the newest software, so I'm no longer pre 29.2 You could dyno immediately after me and you can then see what your mods does on the same dyno both I and Terry have used for the past 2 years (it's about 4 miles from my house and about 10 from Terry's) |

post the graph when you get a chance. It would be nice to see if the map was too hot. if it looks smooth, you either got a leak somewhere or the conditions sucked.

As for his 360 rwhp numbers. Well, first it was on SAE. On STD it would be closer to 370 rwhp. But still those numbers are low. Have your fuel pump checked (heard that you are starting to experience some long cranks). Secondly, change your spark plugs. You've run lots of race gas over the past year or so, therefore it's a good chance they're shot. Bet with new plugs and new HPFP if it's starting to go, you'd make 390+ rwhp (as would be expected for your mods and octane). |

Wait . . .
How many times did you dyno today? I expected much higher numbers. Just wait till you get your FMIC! That'll do the trick |

Sounds good man... I'll be there... I was supposedly on map 8 ..but judging by my peak boost (15.3psi) Terry says I might have been on a lower map on accident.
We'll give it another go! Quote:

I'm expecting a bit less than my 343 rwhp that I got last time, since it's a bit warmer and Terry said he's dynoed a few times there recently and for some reason the numbers seem to be down a bit from usual. Plus I think I'm going to be on a slightly tamer map this time than before. So I'm expecting 335 rwhp based on that. You should try to get your spark plugs changed this weekend before you come. See you there. |

Mote, TMR on the other site said he had someone that could change out your plugs for you this weekend. He also mentioned he could swap out the fuel pump for you too. Not sure how he'd do that without you actually HAVING a new fuel pump.
But you should take him up on the plug swap out at least. |

hmm I wonder if you had this problem when you had the Procede in your car... (bad plugs or bad FP)
Either way cant wait to see what you make once things are sorted out. |

What a surprising outcome...
Something is obviously wrong with your car (spark plugs and/or HPFP, most likely). If you still have your PROcede, it would be interesting to see how the newest maps compare to JB3.

Hopefully Mote will get his car looked at to make sure everything is nice and tight, and not leaking any boost anywhere. Hopefully his Fuel pump isn't dying and his plugs are killing his power.
NOTE: If you look at Mariokarts dyno from today that he posted, he was boosting 16psi, and made 418WHP if i remember correctly. Of course conditions might be different but just goes to show at 15psi and your conditions you should be making more anyways. GL man. |
